Councilwoman Hahn Celebrates 50th Anniversary of the City of Lawndale

This week The City of Lawndale celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Back in 1959 my father, Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, swore in the first-ever Lawndale City Council. At that time, Chester Brown became the first ever Mayor of Lawndale, joined by City Councilmembers Frank Hogan, Thomas Thorp, Charles Crawford and Ernest Eeles. The City has made great strides over the past 50 years and I was proud to honor Mayor Harold Hoffmann and the city council for their achievement.
